I finally finished the Keyhole scarf, tassels and all. I’d hoped that doing the second keyhole would seem so much easier after all the knitting I’ve done, but apparently I’m still not cut out for keyhole knitting.
Here’s a quick test: can you tell which keyhole was first and which was last?
Yeah, me neither!
Oh, well. The whole thing still came out pretty well as a whole scarf – even the tassels. 🙂
I’ve never tried keyhole knitting, but it looks like your tension must affect the separate sides more than usual I suppose. It’s good to know for the future at least!
Key B kind of looks cute because it really does look like a keyhole (to me at least) and I believe it’s the first one you did, judging by the direction of your stitches in the block section. Very interesting attempt, makes me want to knit a swatch just to try it since I have no keyhole projects.
I’d forgotten about that one! Yay for another finished project!
