2 parts rice 3 parts water

  • rinse rice twice, pouring out cloudy water
  • add rice and fresh water to rice cooker and soak for 30 minutes
  • start rice cooker, and wait 15 minutes after it switches to “keep warm”
  • stir rice for fluffier rice

serving size:

  • 1/4 cup of rice is a standard serving (1 cup of rice and 1 1/2 cups water for 4)
  • 3/8 cup is a more generous serving (1 1/2 cups of rice and 2 1/4 cups water for 4)
