pull-apart yeast rolls
sides | bread favorite yeast1 cup milk
1/4 cup butter
- heat milk in a small saucepan and slice butter into it
- heat on low heat until the butter is melted
- pour into stand mixer bowl
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. instant yeast
- add all ingredients to stand mixer bowl, stir to combine, and rest 5 minutes to activate yeast
1 large egg
3 to 3 3/4 cups flour
1 tbsp. butter, melted
- add egg to mixing bowl
- add 3 cups of flour and mix with dough hook
- add additional flour, 1 tbsp. at a time, until dough comes away from the side of the bowl
- knead for 5 minutes
- transfer dough to a greased bowl, turn over, cover, and proof for 30 minutes
- punch the dough down, divide into 16 balls, and arrange in a greased 9x9” baking pan
- cover and proof for 30 minutes
- bake at 400°F for 15-17 minutes, until golden brown
- brush with butter immediately after baking and serve hot
