lavender syrup
other | cocktails drinks syrup3 tbsp. dried lavender
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
- bring lavendar and water to a boil then reduce heat to a simmer
- add sugar and stir until fully dissolved
- remove from heat and steep 30-60 minutes
- strain with a fine mesh strainer and/or cheesecloth
- cool to room temperature then refrigerate in a glass jar

01/27/2023: based on sugar/water ratio in other simple syrup recipes (and comments about crystalization), i’m starting with a 1:1 sugar/water ratio instead of 2:1 as the original recipe says.
