tandoori paste
other | indian longish marinade spicejuice of one lemon
2-3 Tbsp. yogurt
2 Tbsp. oil
3-4 tsp. paprika
1 1/2 tsp. coriander
1 tsp. garam masala
1 tsp. garlic powder or paste (about 1 clove)
1 tsp. ginger powder or paste (aboug 1/2” trimmed)
1 tsp. fenugreek or maple syrup
1 tsp. salt
1/2 - 1 tsp. ground chili (not chili powder mix)
1/2 tsp. turmeric
1/2 tsp. fennel seed, anise, or cumin
1/2 tsp. black pepper
- mix all ingredients to make a smooth paste
- cover chicken pieces and marinate for several hours or overnight
