Cacao Nib Extract
other | alcohol beer chocolate homebrew longish4 oz. cacao nibs
3/4 cup “good” vodka
- Combine in airtight container (ziplock bag, jam jar, etc.)
- Let infuse for four days (shaking several times a day)
- Strain out solids
Optional: To remove fats which can impact head retention:
- Freeze overnight and scrape off fat and solids that float to the top
