1 tbsp. butter
18 oz. (500g) banana bread, cubed

  • butter an 8x8” baking dish and add cubed banana bread to it

2 bananas
4 eggs
1/3 cup (57g) brown sugar
1 1/2 cups (355ml) milk
1 1/2 cups (355ml) cream
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt

  • mash bananas, then mix in remaining ingredients
  • pour over banana bread cubes and rest at least 30 minutes (up to 4 hours)
  • bake at 350°F for 50-60 minutes, until browned and mostly set (some jiggle is fine) and internal temperature reaches 175°F
