12 oz. fresh blueberries
1/2 cup sugar
juice from 1/2 lime
1 tbsp. water

  • heat until berries burst, then purée until smooth

1 cup milk
1 cup cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. salt

  • add to blueberry mixture, mix well and chill at least 4 hours
  • process in ice cream maker, then freeze to firm up
