poured fondant icing
dessert | frosting ingredients1 cup (142g) white chocolate chips
4 cups (454g) powdered sugar
1/4 cup (78g) corn syrup
1/4 cup (57g) hot water
- melt chocolate over low heat
- mix remaining ingredients, stirring until smooth
- add melted chocolate and stir until incorporated
1 tsp. vanilla or other extract
food coloring
- stir into fondant
- if too thick to pour, reheat briefly and add 1-3 tbsp. hot water (100°F is best temp)
- drippings can be strained to be reused, or poured into molds to make candies
