3 cups (380g) flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt

  • mix and set aside

1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
1/2 cup (100g) white sugar
1 1/4 cups (247g) brown sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 package (12 oz. / 340g) chocolate chips

  • beat butter and sugars until creamy, about 2 minutes
  • add vanilla and eggs and mix until combined
  • slowly add flour mixture
  • stir in chocolate chips
  • drop in large balls (3 Tbsp.) onto baking sheet
  • bake at 350°F for 14 minutes
  • cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to cooling rack
