Quick Cinnamon Rolls

2 cups flour
2 Tbsp. sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. butter, softened
¾ cup milk
- Mix dried ingredients in mixing bowl
- Cut in butter
- Stir in milk to form a soft dough
- Roll out to 12” square
Filling:
4 Tbsp. butter
1 cup brown sugar
3 tsp. cinnamon
- Combine all ingredients
- (optional) Drizzle some filling in the bottom of pan
- Spread filling on dough and roll tightly
- Cut into 12-16 slices
- Place in pan and bake for 20-25 minutes at 400°F
Icing:
½ cup powdered sugar
¼ cup milk
- Add milk a little at a time, constantly stirring until a thick icing forms

2015-09-07 08:41:08: A comment suggested some interesting modifications:
- Don’t bother sprinkling any filling on bottom of the pan
- Cut them thick because they won’t rise much
- Bake at 300°F to make the dough gooier
- Bake in spring-form pan to make it easier to get them out
- Pour melted butter over the rolls after removing from the oven
